Let’s talk about your event

I’d love to hear what you’re planning and learn more about the women you’ll be gathering.

Tell me a little about your event, what you’re hoping your audience will take away, and which topic resonates most with you. Email hello@katevazquez.com, and we’ll take it from there.

I love talking about the way God designed our bodies, what our symptoms may be telling us, and how our health connects to the life He has called us to live.

But more than anything, I want women to know that their hope isn’t found in perfect health, doing all the right things, or finally figuring everything out. It’s found in Jesus.

As a Christian speaker and functional medicine practitioner trained as a physician assistant, I bring together what I’ve learned about the body, what I’ve experienced in my own health journey, and what God continues to teach me about trusting Him.

I don’t come as someone who has it all figured out. I’m still learning, growing, and being refined by God myself. I simply want to share what He’s teaching me, in the hope that it encourages other women to see their bodies differently and live with a deeper understanding of whose they are.

Whether I’m speaking at a women’s conference, workshop, small group, church, or on a podcast, my prayer is that women walk away with more than information. I want them to leave with hope, peace, and a renewed desire to honor God with the lives He’s entrusted to them.

“So whether you eat or drink, or whatever you do, do it all for the glory of God.” (1 Corinthians 10:31, NLT)

Speaking topics

Listen. Steward. Live with Purpose.

Three talks. One underlying question: How do we care for the bodies God created and the lives He’s entrusted to us without losing sight of Him in the process?

Each talk can stand on its own or be part of a larger conversation about faith, health, and whole-person wellness.

Talk 1: Listen

What Is Your Body Trying to Tell You? Listening to Your Body Through Prayer

What if the next step in caring for your health isn’t doing more, but learning to listen?

For years, I searched for answers to my own health struggles. God has been teaching me that caring for our health involves more than finding the right answers.

Instead of rushing to silence every symptom, I’m learning to slow down, pray, and ask God for wisdom. Sometimes that means looking deeper into what’s happening physically. Sometimes the next step is rest, a boundary, or the courage to say no. I’ve learned this the hard way, through migraines that followed seasons of doing too much.

In this talk, I’ll share how prayer has become part of caring for my health, and how to grow in discernment without assuming every symptom has a spiritual explanation.

Women will leave with:

  • A simple way to bring their health concerns to God in prayer and ask for wisdom.
  • A new perspective on their symptoms as signals worth understanding, rather than something to automatically fight or ignore.
  • Practical questions to reflect on their needs, stress, commitments, and boundaries, and to recognize when it’s time to take action and when it’s time to rest.
  • A deeper understanding of caring for their bodies as an act of both stewardship and surrender.

Talk 2: Steward

Steward, Don’t Strive: Caring for Your Body Without Making It Your God

You can care deeply about your health without making it the center of your life.

I love learning about the body God designed. But I’ve seen how easily the pursuit of health can become another source of pressure.

We start thinking we need to eat perfectly, find the right supplements, run more tests, and fix every symptom. Before long, getting our health right has taken our peace.

Our bodies are gifts from God, and we’re called to care for them. But I’ve had to learn the difference between being a good steward and striving to control what I was never meant to control.

In this talk, I’ll share how to care for our bodies from gratitude rather than fear. That care should support the lives God has called us to live, not consume them.

Women will leave with:

  • A clearer understanding of the difference between stewardship and striving.
  • Encouragement to release the guilt and comparison that can surround food, exercise, and wellness.
  • A more grounded perspective on supplements, testing, nutrition, and the pursuit of better health.
  • Freedom to care for their bodies without making health their identity, remembering that their ultimate hope and security are found in Jesus.

Talk 3: Live with Purpose

What Is It All For? Health in Light of Eternity

I love health. But there’s a question we need to ask along the way: What is it all for?

As Christians, we’re invited to see our lives in light of eternity. Our bodies matter, but our time here is temporary, and our deepest hope was never meant to rest in our health.

I want to be a good steward of my body so I can be present with my family, use the gifts God has given me, and serve the people He’s placed in my life. Even when my health isn’t where I want it to be, my identity in Christ hasn’t changed.

Because the question isn’t simply, How healthy can I become? It’s also, Who am I becoming, and how am I using the life God has given me?

Women will leave with:

  • A deeper understanding of how caring for their health can serve a purpose beyond themselves.
  • Encouragement to pursue health and longevity without allowing fear, control, or optimization to become driving forces.
  • A reminder that their identity and hope in Christ remain secure, even when their health is uncertain.
  • A renewed desire to invest in what lasts: their relationship with God, the people He’s entrusted to them, and the character He’s forming within them.

Where I speak

I’d love to connect with women wherever they’re gathering to grow in their faith and encourage one another. I speak at:

  • Women’s conferences, events, and retreats.
  • Church gatherings and women’s ministries.
  • Mom groups and faith-based women’s events.
  • Podcasts and interviews exploring faith, health, motherhood, and whole-person wellness.

I speak in person (I’m happy to travel) and virtually. Each talk can be shaped as a keynote, a workshop, or a podcast conversation, for different groups and lengths, while keeping the heart of the message intact.
